We strive to adhere to and respect the great traditions of traditional or American Roots Music, while offering a completely contemporary approach & outlook to all aspects of our productions. Plenty of exciting, fresh soon-to-be-known musical discoveries are also included. We offer a high-quality, broad-based choice to those seeking honesty, integrity, intimacy, truth and most of all, healing of the body, mind, and spirit through the power that is music & community. Description: Plunder is an art inspired pirate themed festival, a side step from every other festival under the sun that spreads its wings from shore to shore. Every festival seems to aim at "how many bands can we stack on one stage", "How many people can we push through the gates". These events seem to be helping people forget what it should be all about. Plunder is not trying to get the music so the people can come together, Plunder is getting the people together so the people can come together. Plunder is about creation, and Plunder is about you.... The every day pirate. Music is by far one of the greatest art creations we have ever made.... BUT THERE IS SO MUCH MORE OUT THERE!!!! Plunder wants you to explore your creative side and URGES you with every ounce of yourself to build on it. CREATE INTERACTIVENESS!!! BUILD ON PLUNDER ISLE!!! Plunder is just the pirate island you land on. The journey is that of what you make of it. What would you like to see on plunder? sharks? space pirate ship crash landings? midnight pirate alien disco? You can help create plunder to be every ounce of your dream Isle! We never said what kind of pirate you have to be..... :) We want you to come with the mindset to play. we want you to leave with excitement that you were a part of it. The ground rules are very very few. Be respectful... if it can't be burned SAFELY! you need to bring it back with you. We need to maintain a 2 mile CLEAN line to and from plunder island. We need to prove that we can plunder respectfully each year... Build responsibly.. Build within your means! please don't go overboard unless you CAN go overboard. BE SAFE! a fairly straight forward idea.... if you have questions... we have an answer.. feel free to ask if you can do it.

Once again, Terrapin Productions (festival producers) hosts a variety of musical genres always with a mind towards the original intent; celebrating Jerry Garcia's life and music. Late night goes FUNK this year with Big Sam's Funky Nation playing Thursday late-night and Deep Banana Blackout funkin' us up Saturday late-night. The Vibes began in 1996 celebrating the life of Jerry Garcia, who passed away the previous summer. Originally named “Deadhead Heaven”, the Vibes provide an annual event for fans across the country to remember and celebrate the beloved counterculture icon. For the past 14 years, the Vibes has brought together legendary artists with emerging acts appealing to a wide cross-section of live-music fans. Gathering of the Vibes 15 returns to Seaside Park for the third of a five-year partnership with the city of Bridgeport. 2009 saw 20,000 fans per day enjoying the 370-acre venue. The city and Terrapin Productions look to spread more positive Vibes in 2010. The Vibes, an all-ages, family-friendly event, takes place July 29 to August 1. Both weekend campers and single-day guests have access to the park, including its shaded groves, manicured fields and more than a mile of Long Island Sound beachfront. The Vibes has tons of things to do for the kids at Kids Corner and Teen Scene. Teen Scene offers musical instruction, jam sessions with booked performers and other chill activities for those no longer into getting their faces painted! Please stop by for a visit! The Vibes again hosts a designated Family camping area - a place where families and chill folks can hang out together and set the tone. If you want family camping, Send Vibes Family an email to request a family camping parking pass. Don't forget to bring the whole family and your friends for an energizing visit to the Karma Wash! You can not miss it located at the only tree on the main stage field. Primus, headlining Saturday, might be a surprise in the middle of a Garcia inspired jam-band festival. Guaranteed Les Claypool, Jay Lane (returning to Primus for the first time since 1989) and Larry "Ler" Lalonde will make it much more than just one more Saturday night. These 3 guys will funk us up Primus style! Be ready. Check out the Vibes 2010 lineup. Once again, it's jam-packed with old favorites and new discoveries to explore. You'll be real happy hearing and seeing bands you might never have heard of . . . yet. Bands like Bronze Radio Return, Turbine, MacPodz, The Trapps, The McLovins, Lubriphonic, Kung Fu, Leroy Justice and more. Please CLICK HERE to go to the Gathering of the Vibes Website for complete information. Again this year, you won't be able to see all the artists you 'd like to see but whoever you see at the Vibes will do you right. Since the beginning, Gathering of the Vibes and its fans have made “giving back” a priority with their support of various social causes. In 2008 and 2009 combined, festival organizers donated more than $125,000 to local Bridgeport charities, the Connecticut Special Olympics and many other worthy not-for-profit organizations. In 2009, festival attendees donated 5,500 pounds of non-perishable items to local and state food banks. The festival’s bold “Green Vibes” environmental initiative ranges from an aggressive on-site recycling campaign to educating fans on the current research and development being done and the progress being made in the alternative energy field. Description: What this is all about is the epitome of what a grass roots Vermont music festival should be. The boys who make up Bow Thayer and Perfect Trainwreck along with local volunteers have banded together to create what is sure to be a great weekend of original music, good vibes, and one heck of a party! But it is mainly up to the people who show up. Over the years we have met so many interesting people and we feel this is an excellent way to get as many as we can together. The best festivals are the ones that are not overhyped or overcrowded. We have a limit to how many folks can come (another reason to get tix in advance); the biggest, most popular festivals were at their best in infancy. This is exactly where we are at with the Tweed: how many places can you show up, pick a camp spot, bring you own cooler, listen to great music, and have access to one of the sweetest swimming holes in the area?! Although we have many volunteers, including EMT certified and first response attendants, you will not be corralled around to specific sites to camp, party, listen to music, etc…

City: Redgranite, State: Wisconsin
Venue: First Chance Last Chance Saloon

Artist Lineup: Snook, Ifdakar, Jesse and the Boys, Smokin Crawdads, Stack Edwards Band, Ghettoblaster

Description: JakeFest is an outdoor music Festival that we initiated after the loss of our son. Jake Deringer was swimming at the Redgranite quarry on a beautiful Thursday afternoon when God chose to take him back into his embrace. Jake is the 16th swimmer to drown in the quarry since it opened to public swimming. He was under water for approximately 50 minutes before a diver arrived. It only took 2 minutes to find him and pull him out of the water. After Jake's funeral we formed a non profit organization and named it Jakefest, Inc. One of our goals is to find ways to make the quarry a safer place for our kids to swim. We donated all of Jake's memorial money ($7,000.00) to train and outfit a dive team for Redgranite Fire and Rescue, so we can have a diver right across the street. This undertaking will continue to cost money to keep it going. We also have many more ideas to present to the District on ways to make it safer. JakeFest is our way of bringing the community together for a common goal. We strive to involve everyone in the area to participate in anyway they feel. Bringing in ideas and helping solving problems that arise during each years' festival planning. That we may all take pride in a successful fundraiser and great party. The businesses in our area and surrounding areas all profit from the large amount of people who visit here every summer to swim at the quarry. We hope to raise money to fund these ideas and also to keep the dive team updated and supplied with equipment needed. Other charities in our area and surrounding areas will benefit from money raised. We have started proceeding for a Jake Deringer Memorial Scholarship fund for Crossroads Academy. A division of Wautoma High School, that aims to help kids graduate and go on through Technical School. JakeFest will be held annually at the First Chance/Last Chance Saloon, Hwy 21 in Redgranite, Father's Day weekend, the second weekend in June. The Festival will feature music all day and into the night, food, and games for the adults as well as kids. Any donations will be greatly appreciated. Hope to see you there!

Description: Hi everyone, For those of you that haven't attended a Peace Rally yet, I'd like to fill you in. I'll share a little about the previous events that have led up to the Love Fest. It was 2007 and I was trying to figure out how I could help raise the conciousness and awareness of people around me. I decided that my local community was a great place to spread joy. My next question was: What brings people together? and my answer was MUSIC. That's how I got the idea for the first rally. I got great amounts of advice and help from Rainbow Recording Studios. It was held May 20th 2008. Around a thousand people came in and out of Elmwood Park's grotto. I'll never forget when Roger Mead played Peace Train for me. It blew away my expectations... I was anxious to have another. So I started planning the next day for the Gathering of Righteousness. My favorite sound guy in the world, Duke, set us up for a wonderful day. Sept. 27th 2009, was quite a party on the slides. It was really fantastic to see all the people walking around the Old Market stumble upon the event. My favorite part was seeing all the little kids playing in the park with glow sticks. The t-shirts didn't sell so I thought.... The next time around it would be easier if I got someone else's help to pay for the event. With the support of Advanced Hydroponics and Illuzion Glass the Peace Rally 2009 was held on April 20th in Heartland of America Park. It made me really happy to expose people to my favorite professor Doug Wagner, who spoke about Drug Awareness. I took a short hiatus from planning the next event when my baby boy was born June 12, 2009. With the joy of my little one I'm more motivated than ever to put on a rally. Driver and I are excited to meet all of you at the Love Fest. Thank you, you have no idea how much I appreciate your interest and support. Sincerely, Julie Smith

Venue: Avalon Organic Gardens Farm and Ranch

Artist Lineup: Gabriel of Urantia & the eleven-piece Bright & Morning Star Band,Van'sGuard, Starseed Acoustic Ensemble, The Change Agents Band, DeoVibe, Israfel Awakened, Sa T Nesu.

Description: Festival Encourages People to 'Be Aware' Gabriel of Urantia & The Bright & Morning Star Band are on a national “Be Aware” concert tour to raise awareness of important environmental, social, and spiritual issues. Gabriel of Urantia calls attention to global concerns and offers positive, practical solutions. The tour kicks off with the biannual Be Aware Festival. May 7-9 at Avalon Organic Gardens, Farm, and EcoVillage in Tubac, AZ, Global Change Multi-Media presents the Be Aware Festival featuring the eleven-piece Gabriel of Urantia & The Bright & Morning Star Band. Additional artists include Van'sGuard, Starseed Acoustic Ensemble, The Change Agents Band, DeoVibe, Israfel Awakened, and SaTNesu. Gabriel of Urantia encourages everyone to 'Be Aware' of such things as: • The need for more green products and to live more sustainably. • The need to buy locally and to grow organic gardens. • The chemicals and toxins in many foods, manufactured by greedy, uncaring companies. • The unethical corporate entities taking people's money and keeping them in slave labor. • The unequal distribution of wealth, supplies, and material goods, keeping the poor fighting among themselves. • The lack of proper health care and the high costs of medical services. • The need for true spiritual and political leadership. “These issues aren’t being addressed by mainstream media,” says Global Change Multi-Media Executive Director, BenDameean Steinhardt. “People need to realize how important these topics are. To change the world, we have to identify the problems and find viable solutions.” In addition to live music, the festival includes camping, independent films, activist theater, ecoconscious speakers, Kids’ Camelot Village, hayride tours, ethnic foods, vendors, and more. The festival is free for kids 11 and under. Suggested donations for ages 12 & up are given at the gate and are: All Three Days - $30 Friday - $16 all day ($8 after 1:00pm) Saturday - $20 all day ($10 after 4:30pm) Sunday - $16 ($8 after 3:00pm) Proceeds benefit various nonprofit organizations. “By suggested donation.” says Gabriel of Urantia. “People of all ages, races, and economic brackets are encouraged to come, including the poor and disenfranchised. We trust people who have will support the 'new-paradigm admission' and give freely from their hearts to keep these festivals by suggested donation so that those less fortunate can attend.” Money doesn’t get you the best seats at his concerts. His unique style of music, CosmoPop, attracts people from all religions and walks of life who come together under a banner of “One God, One Planetary Family.” Gabriel of Urantia has five independent CosmoPop CDs. His music should be heard on radio stations around the world but (thank God for the uncontrolled Internet) his concerts can be watched around the planet through live webcasts by Global Change Multi-Media. A resident visitor experience is offered after the festival for those interested in learning more about organic gardening, ecovillage living, and the vision behind the “Be Aware” movement. For more information and camping reservations visit www.BeAware2010.org or call 520-398-2542. Shuttle service available.

Description: TeleMagica Art and Music Festival is an annual event in the pristine natural landscape of Jacumba CA, 1 hour East of San Diego. www.telemagica.com, www.instituteofperception.com TeleMagica provides a stage for painters, sculptors, musicians, poets, photographers, film makers, performance artists, neo-vaudville, graf artists and creative ritualists coming together for exchange of ideas and talents, for connectivity and collaboration on projects, and for rejuvenation in a world where the support for the non-commercial arts has been evaporating. This is our 7th annual... in 09 we joined and Aligned the tribes and in 2010, en mass we will IGNITE from within to create LUMINESCENCE, straightening our individual emanations to connect with the emanations at large... Luminescence is about igniting the personal energy body with the emanations at Large. You are the creative/bridge between the Known world and the Unknown. Your manifested sounds and visual intention ignite TeleMagica, and in turn, TeleMagica becomes an Energy Mass that unites with the Greater Universal Intention. Your contribution cannot be underestimated. As we near 2012, the TeleMagicians are responsible for giving the world its Next Sound and Vision. You have worked for many lifetimes to arrive at the creative artistry that forms worlds. How you intend, is how people will see and hear in the future. Your actions are like the Luminescent Moth that beats its glowing wings in the dark of night to create a wave of power that sparks the new day. This is our Seventh year of magic. Each year we have seen a rising in the overall intention of our artists. This year, we are honored to have representatives from Japan, Hungary, Ukraine, Australia as well at the USA . We have become a Global gathering for Awareness through The Arts. We are the future. Thank you all and we look forward to seeing you at Ignition Point White Pyramid!

Our venue is very out of the way (no cars, no people, no complaints)but easy to get to. Our covered stage is set up right on the beach with a swimming hole and a fishing pond at your disposal. We have plenty of space and are divided by the lake into quiet camping and party camping. The campground is wonderful with all sorts of amenities like tennis, shuffleboard, two playgrounds, basketball, loaded camp store, bathhouses and a laundry room. The owners are fabulous and they totally get what we're trying to do. Description: Desiderata Festival is about celebrating life, about reconnecting with your fellow brothers and sisters through a rich cultural and social experience. It's not just about music, that is but one facet of the human experience. Interacting with your fellow human beings, reigniting that spark that winter has sought to extinguish, experiencing the pure joy of being alive and being part of a gathering of like-minded evolved humans, engaging in dialogue to better understand and connect with each other-that is what Desiderata is. Expect new and diverse breeds of music. Meet members of the world community and participate in workshops, lectures, and political discussions. Expect the avant-garde and the abstract: indie film premieres, art installations and multimedia performances. Experience and discover music that will help you transcend the petty day-to-day issues out in the real world. Let loose and dance to wash away the stress of life. Watch and join actors performing theater. Sit by the fire and instinctively remember a simpler time, when every person, musician or non-musician would sing, drum, play an instrument, in harmony with each other, exposing their true selves without shame to their fellow human beings. All your senses aflame, your mind stimulated, your heart pumping with the utter joy of sharing life with others... You are now part of the tribe, the Desiderata Tribe.
